Usually, winter here in the Lower Mainland, BC consists of rain and more rain. We have actually been seeing some colder temps and some SNOW! I love the white stuff and my family managed to get up to Grouse Mountain this past weekend. Such a beautiful treasure and so thankful we can escape the city whenever we like.
I cannot believe how fast Christmas is approaching and I am looking forward to the start of a new year. January is one of my favourite months because it means a fresh start. This January, I will be traveling to Tokyo with my husband. He will be attending business meetings and I will be playing tourist. So excited to experience a different culture and do some exploring (maybe a bit of shopping).
Since I have Christmas shopping pretty much under control and my classes for January/February organized I am looking forward to some time for creative practice. Since so much of my time is spent designing and organizing classes, I tend to miss out on creative practice. I detest new year's resolutions but I will make more time for practice. How does a person grow creatively if you don't stretch those muscles on a regular basis?
One of my favourite ways to experiment creatively is to grab my art journal. These pages were made using Ranger Ink products---my favourite! Love Dina Wakley's paints and used some Dylusion's stamps here too.
